Preheat oven to 350 and bake for 55-60 minutes until bread springs back when lightly touched in the center. Cool and remove from pan and wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator.
2 very ripe medium bananas, peeled, cut in chunks 1/2 cup butter or margarine, chilled, cut in 6 pieces
Mix butter and bananas together until chunky.
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup of sugar 2 eggs 1/4 cup of milk 2 teaspoons lemon juice or vinegar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)
Add remaining ingredients and beat for 10 seconds
scrape bowl and pour into a greased 9x5 -inch loaf plan and bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
